Facilities

Jamieson Primary School  is set in extensive grounds on the side of “School Hill”, and is over 150 years old.

The solid brick building features 2 large classrooms, an office and a withdrawing room. A large outdoor covered area attached to the building provides a dry recreation area during the wet months and we also have a block of land across from the school to use for games and sporting activities.

Our kitchen/multi-purpose room is used as a dining room daily for our lunches. We can heat food brought from home as well as engage in cooking/science/art/music classes in the space.

"Buster" the School Bus

Jamieson Primary School purchased its own school bus in April 2018 for the purpose of school students reaching school based activities.

Due to the school’s remote location and parents’ work commitments it was deemed feasible to acquire a bus to alleviate the burden of private car transport for the school’s students.

Our bus, affectionately known as Buster, has capacity for 20 passengers and 1 driver.

Buster has already transported the Jamieson Primary School students to various school events.
